We are researchers from the ABC BlendED mobility project, focused on addressing challenges faced by African farmers. With support from experienced coaches and supervisors, we aim to develop optimized agricultural and technological solutions to improve farmers' conditions.

ABC BlendEd focuses on creating collaborative curricular activities for students from various countries and disciplines. These projects aim to produce relevant outputs for local communities while enhancing students' enthusiasm and essential skills for the job market, including teamwork, entrepreneurship, critical thinking, and communication.

About the Project

In Angonia, Mozambique, livestock farmers struggle with feed scarcity during the dry season, reducing productivity . This is worsened by poor preservation methods and underuse of plant residues.

Our Sustainable Feed Production Project will address this by training farmers in silage and haymaking, and promoting the use of plant residues like maize stover and groundnut haulms. This will improve year-round feed availability, boost livestock productivity, and strengthen farmer resilience in Angonia.
