About the Project
In Angonia, Mozambique, livestock farmers struggle with feed scarcity during the dry season, reducing productivity . This is worsened by poor preservation methods and underuse of plant residues.
Our Sustainable Feed Production Project will address this by training farmers in silage and haymaking, and promoting the use of plant residues like maize stover and groundnut haulms. This will improve year-round feed availability, boost livestock productivity, and strengthen farmer resilience in Angonia.
