About Us

We are a group of researchers from ABC BlendED mobility project consortium aiming to solve problems affecting agriculturalists in Africa. With guidance from highly qualified coaches and supervisors, we aim to come up with optimized solutions for farmers' problems through agricultural and technological solutions.

ABC BlendEd aims at Developing curricular activities involving students from different countries and disciplines, collaborating as a team to complete projects that generate relevant outputs to the local communities, improves students’ enthusiasm as well as core competences for the labour market such as teamwork, entrepreneurship, critical thinking, and communication skills.

About the Project

The Land Suitability Analysis project at ABC BlendEd, in collaboration with Chelsea Agric in Anambra State, Nigeria, is a strategic initiative to enhance agricultural productivity. This project focuses on assessing 6,000 hectares of land—1,000 hectares allocated for cassava and 5,000 hectares for oil palm—located near a river with waterlogged and previously forested areas. Our goal is to optimize land use through data-driven insights.

We address biophysical characteristics, such as soil fertility and drainage, alongside socio-economic factors like market access and labor availability. By integrating these elements with effective management practices, the project aims to ensure sustainable farming and support Chelsea Agric's long-term success.
